How is padel played?
Four players, doubles, on a 20 by 10 metre court enclosed by glass walls and mesh. The walls are part of the game, the serve is underarm and points are scored as in tennis. You can rally from your first game, even if you've never held a racket.
Getting started
Covered courts can be played all year, outdoor courts mostly from April to October. Wear shoes with suitable soles (artificial grass is slippery), warm up your shoulders, and play with partners at your level: games last longer and are more fun.
