Buddiz keeps going because of you
We fund the app ourselves, and it stays free. Here is how you can lend a hand, whichever way suits you.
Why it matters
An app like this one is worth nothing on its own. A meet-up does not fill up if nobody is around, and a town where nobody proposes anything stays an empty town. Everything below serves that, and nothing else.
Eight ways to help
Ranked by what they actually change, not by what they cost. The last one is the only one involving money.
Start your next meet-up
2 minutesThis helps the most, and almost nobody thinks of it. What is missing here is never demand: it is someone opening the door. The day you post your slot instead of waiting for someone else's, you create what ten more sign-ups will not.
Bring your club or your group
10 minutesA WhatsApp group moving over is thirty people at once, and meet-ups that already exist. No other move has that effort-to-effect ratio.
Spread the word
1 minuteWord of mouth only works when it is specific. Do not say “there is an app”: invite the person you already train with, or drop your link in your club's group. Your invite link is in the app, and it credits you with whoever arrives through it.
Leave five stars
30 secondsA review does not flatter us, it convinces someone else. It is the first thing read by a person hesitating on the store page, and it is also what lifts the app when people search for it.
Follow us, and share
1 minuteFollowing helps, sharing helps far more. After a meet-up, the app prepares an image for you to post: one story tagged @buddiz.app does more for us than one more follower.
Tell us what is wrong
3 minutesWe mostly fix what annoyed us the weekend before. What you report widens that field of view. One annoyance flagged once beats ten people quietly giving up.
Become an ambassador
OngoingThe step above: carrying Buddiz in your town, with us. It is meant for those who have already done the rest and want to go further.
Help us cover the bills
OptionalThe app is free and it stays that way. It still has costs every month: servers, maps, notifications, developer accounts. Right now they come out of our own pockets. A coffee is a share of the monthly bill that does not.
It unlocks nothing, and skipping it locks nothing. Everyone gets exactly the same app: that is the condition for the sentence above to stay true.

Questions we get asked
Do I have to pay to support Buddiz?
No, nothing obliges you to: seven of the eight ways to help cost nothing. The donation does help, though, since it covers a share of the costs we pay out of our own pockets today. It unlocks no feature.
What helps the most?
Starting a meet-up, and bringing your club. Buddiz lives on what people propose on it: with no meet-ups there is nothing to join, however many members are signed up.
Does a donation give access to anything?
No, never. No badge, no reserved feature, no early access. Everyone gets the same app, whether they gave or not.
The simplest thing is still to show up
One meet-up posted near you already goes a long way.
