A Buddiz QR code at the counter? Here's what to do
A customer shows you a Buddiz QR code? Scan it with your phone camera: the screen tells you what to do.
The three QR codes you may come across
The group's QR code
- Someone from the group shows it on their phone, after the session.
- You scan it once for the whole table.
- You see the discount set for their group size, and you confirm.
The Buddiz card
- A member who comes alone shows you their card.
- You scan it: their photo and first name appear.
- You apply your discount in one tap.
The counter poster
- Your customers scan it themselves, next to your till.
- You have nothing to do.
- They discover your Buddiz page.

Install the Buddiz app
It's free, on iPhone and Android.

Create your account
With the email you'll give your manager.

Your manager adds you to their team
In their Pro Space, under "Your counter team". Your scans then confirm the discount.
Questions at the counter
The screen says only the team can apply the discount
Your account isn't part of the business's team yet. Ask your manager to add you with your Buddiz account email, then scan again.
The Buddiz card's QR code doesn't work
The card's code changes every 30 seconds and only works once. Ask the customer to reopen their card, then scan the new code.
The group got its discount without me scanning
No problem: someone from the group can confirm the visit from the business. It counts like the others.
